The 3 staple ingredients are.......Sausage, Egg and Bacon then you can either have Mushrooms/Tinned Tomatoes or Baked Beans....Black Pudding is also included but that is a acquired taste and then the whole lot is either served with Fried Bread, Toast Or Bread and Butter !!

No Spicy Sausage in an English Breakfast just pork or beef lol

Sausage, bacon, fried eggs, baked beans (or tinned tomatoes), black pudding, mushrooms, all accompanied by fried bread or toast.

It may not be typical but a traditional English breakfast is bacon, fried eggs, tomatoes, mushroom, sausage followed by toast with marmalade and tea!

Kedgeree is also a favoured alternative with the wealthy.

forget the english breakfast , they stole it from the irish ,the english add french fries and beans, and use ketchup with eggs, disgusting, try the irish its much better

eggs and bacon and sausages and beans and toast and mushrooms and porridge and kippers and cornflakes and tea

sausage , bacon , eggs ........ yummy

To me an English breakfast is fried egg, bacon, tomatoes and mushrooms with toast, followed by toast and marmalade, and either tea or coffee.

Personally I prefer to start with a glass of fruit juice or half a grapefruit, to grill the bacon, tomatoes and mushrooms, and use wholemeal bread, I do fry the egg though, but in oil.

I think some people add sausages, baked beans and generous helping of tomato, or brown, sauce, which I think is called a 'full English breakfast'

full english is ....egg, bacon ,sausage, baked beans ,tomatoes, fried potatoes , fried bread ,mushrooms...bread and butter...washed down with lashings of hot tea !.................spicy sausage????...could be chorizo which is spanish !

Things are different now but when I came to England their breakfast consisted of....Toast and Marmalade with a cup of tea. Maybe an added boiled egg.
For some who could afford it...they might have Kippers for breakfast.
Now with an influx of immigrants....they have copied the menus of others and it is now ...Eggs, bacon and sausages with baked beans and other fancy trimmings like fruit juices etc.

The spicy sausages you mentioned must be BLACK PUDDING...Not too sure if this is an English dish.

muffins eggs bacon coffee gravy sausage.
