Does Ginger Ale actually contain ginger?!

Question: If you look at the ingredients for the major brands such as Canada Dry or Seagrams, they don't list 'Ginger".

Answers: If you look at the ingredients for the major brands such as Canada Dry or Seagrams, they don't list 'Ginger".

It's probably a ginger syrup or some other false, man made crap that they seem to put into every food now.

I think if it says "ginger" there would be some form of ginger in there.

yes, it does

Reed's Ginger Soda does and it tastes awesome. Those products contained ginger in the old days, but I think those companies just decided it's cheaper to use artificial flavoring.

It depends on the brand. If it aint listed, it aint in there.

Most the the big companies just use artificial flavouring now. Try Stewarts', they have real ginger listed in the ingredients.

Very little.
