I am a former chef and saw that documentary, and in Canada as in any country you have to make smart choices, most people know that burgers, KFC and most fast foods are high in fat, calories and are not good for you on a regular basis, when I first started out in 1970's in Toronto, almost every place had a salad bar, you lost money on them but the drew in the customer's, now very few places have them, and you can make smart choice when in fast food places, limit the fat by having a salad or no mayo on the burger, at KFC I usually have the chicken sanwich that has some lettuce and no sauce, it all comes down to being an educated consumer, the fast food place are not going to think for you.
Salads with low fat dressing, grilled chicken at KFC, McD and Wendys, a burger with no or only veggie topping no sauces or mayo. It can be down if your willing to think out your purchases before walking up and ordering.
Like we don't know that already? Most intelligent people stay away from those places.
