Can you eat the white waxy mouldy stuff around Weichk?se? (Soft cheese)?!

Question: I just bought some (they don't seem to have cheddar), cause I thought it would be nice (it has pepper in it, i like pepper), but it's surrounded in white waxy mouldy stuff. Can i eat that?

You can eat it, I always take it off because I don't care for the taste.
