If I eat Chinese takeout today, will it hurt my diet?!
They don't serve brown rice at the takeout near me :-(
It's the small serving. How much weight can I be expected to gain from this? Will it sabotage my efforts?
Answers: I've lost 11 pounds since I started on March 2. So far today, I've had an omelet, two whole grain rice cakes, and about 2 servings of peanuts. I don't have a lot of food until I go grocery shopping tomorrow. Also, I'm scheduled to do my strength training and abs exercises today. Plus I'm doing some heavy duty housework as well. Will it hurt if I order Chinese? (shrimp and broccoli with white rice). What would you do?

You will not gain weight from it if you are excersizing everyday. Eating does not make you fat. Overeating and not excersizing makes you fat. Stop stressing and just eat yourself some chinese.
Stop the obsession and just enjoy your food. Have fun and relax. It will help.
ta it's oily
the thing with take-out is they use quite a bit of oil in its preparation. ask for them to prepare yours with little or no oil, and keep the serving size small -- you can eat the leftovers tomorrow. bon appetite.
you probably haven't eaten enough today. Eat your chinese of course. It sounds harmless. If you're having a treat, have it earlier in the day ............ time to work it off then.
Enjoy!
if you only do it occasionally and you stay on your diet or whatever you should be fine. eating a small portion once isn't going to hurt to much. just don't eat it a lot, at max i would say once a month or less.
Chinse food is not low in fat!
add me to your msn and i will tell you :)

just order with less oil. for your information, chinese restaurant they use oil that doesnt have a same oil like we do have here. I mean, most of them they use fat oil, stuff like that for substitue MSG, although they still put MSG on it, but the oil that they use could make more calories on your body.
Thats why chinese food is yummy and delicous at the same time :p
