Oysters with the shell?!

Question: Does anyone know where you can buy oysters, clams, or mussles in cans that still have the shells on? I have a puffer that I sometimes feed human food to because its cheaper, and I would like to get him something that still has the shell on it. I bought some canned oysters, but there was no shell on them. Is there a certain brand that comes with the shell? Thanks!

You cannot buy canned oysters, clams or mussels with the shells still on. You have to buy fresh oysters for that. Look in your yellow pages for a seafood market. If you don't have a fresh seafood market in your town, then go the seafood department of a grocery store. If they don't carry fresh shell fish, then they should be able to order some for you.

No, we do not sell them in a can, best to go to your local fresh Fish shop, or some supermarkets sell them, but you may need to order them. Good hunting

no...you have to buy them directly in the area in which they are caught.
