Are Hersheys candy bars the same as they used to be as far as the chocolate goes?!

Question: Because I don't like it anymore, but I love Ritter Milk Chocolate or Godiva. Maybe Hersheys switched to less cocoa than there was when I was younger?

It seems like they don't temper it like they used to. It is softer and grainier, and possibly they get their cocoa grown from somewhere else for those bars nowadays.

No, pretty much the same. It is just that Ritter and Godiva are of much better quality. But, what they ARE doing is trying to make it into more variations: such as Toffee and Almonds, instead of just Almonds, or more milky, etc.

well no they have changed a lot over the years.

The formula has not changed just your taste buds have changed. This just happens as we get older.

It seems like it to me.....not as sweet or something.

lol- it's funny you like Godiva, because it's a division of HERSHEY. It's that you like darker chocolate. It happens. Ritter milk is actually darker than american milk, which has a sweeter taste.
