i saw this video, where a real pig farmer was filmed grabbing baby pigs one by one and castrating them with a rusty old pair of wire-cutters. Without the benefit of anaesthesia or anything.
Poor piggies :(

That must have hurt very badly.
And of course, those same mutilated pigs were then fattened up for a year and then de-haired with strong chemicals while they were still alive, and finally put out of their misery with a blade across the throat while hanging upside down.

well im a HUGE animal lover=]

i couldnt stand eating animals that were stuck in small unsanitary farms then killed. then i learned that its good for you too. [vegatarians save on average like i think 300 lives a year!!!]

3 years babyy=]

I haven't given up meat but i'm finding it more difficult to eat these days do i may well try to give it up as i think about it's origin too much to enjoy it properly.

meat is good for you and has high quality protein that your body needs. but i just eat chicken and beef, i dont like the smell of bacon or other processed meats, as well

I didn't meat is a important factor in you diet. I just make sure the meat i get is all organic other wise i wont eat it. Nothing against vegetarians but i don't know how you guys do it.

This may sound really dumb, but don't laugh too hard o.k. I stopped eating red meat when they first discovered mad cow disease in sheep! And well, I've never eaten pork simply because I happen to think that pigs are very dirty animals. (I told you it was kinda silly!!!)

I stopped eating meat because I was full. I'll eat more tomorrow.

I just got tired of it. Since I stopped, I generally feel better and sleep better.

I thought it was gross

It was too much trouble to make it look edible. Look close and you see stuff you wouldn't want in your mouth. But that does not include bacon. Bacon is the best. Not nutritionally, I know.

Sorry, but we need meat. In vegetarian countries people live less and they are not capable to work more than 4 o 5 hours per day. Meat (fish, chicken, etc.) has products that you don′t find in vegetables and you need to eat a lot of vegetables to get satisfied (so is much expensive)
