Why did Starbucks cut out light frappuccinos??!

Question: I really enjoyed their light blended cream frappuccinos, but they just stopped making them and they dont put them on their menu anymore. whats up with that? i mean it was like more than half the calories than a regular and this is exactly whats leading America to Obesity. I dont see whats so hard with putting non fat to low fat milk instead of cream u kno? its stupid... They still make the coffee blended frappuccinos in light, but not the creme ones which are personally my favorite. but does anyone know why exactly they stopped making them?

They didn't sell.

Beside, the regular creme base is made with non-fat milk anway! The only difference was the calorie content of the powder mix...

And not having light creme mix available is not what is leading America to obsesity...Americans not knowing how to say no and stop eating is what is leading to obesity.

They are a poor seller. Most likely they've deemed it a seasonal thing since, from my experience as a barista, we sell a lot more frappucinos in the summer, so expect a comeback some time in May. They're still very conscious of the weight concerns of the public, believe me. (A testament to this is their new "skinny" drink line: beverages made with sugarfree syrups and nonfat milk.
