Whats in whole grain foods that makes it more nutritious than regular grain foods?!

More fiber, slightly more protein, more lysine, more iron, zinc and other minerals, and more B vitamins, particularly thiamine, riboflavin, niacin and panthotenic acid. As you can see, whole grains are superior in just about anything compared to bleached debranned ones.

Amino acids and beneficial germs are present in the less processed foods.

You just answered your own question. "WHOLE GRAIN" they (the company who makes cereals, breads etc) uses the whole grain not just part of the grain like they did back say about 50 years ago.

The reason brown rice and brown bread is better than white rice, bread is that the white bread and rice are bleached (no I don't think it's the kind of bleach your mother uses to wash clothes) plus whole grain help your digestive system (to help regulate it).

If you want to know the facts on whole grain, and the difference between white bread,rice and brown bread, rice go to you local library and get a book on the subject there you will find your answers or ask your doctor
