Does simple food become more tasty when you're surrounded by complex foods daily?!

Question: Let's say you have catering daily, and it includes free dessert like date pudding, ice cream, all sorts of cream cakes, and it includes steak, potatoes, salad, fried fish etc, DAILY, would you crave the food for beggars in their hermitage?

It's times when there's too much food that you crave instant noodles daily, like what I do now.

I suppose you will get very different answers..

I drink lots of black coffee.......does it make me crave caviar ? Nope....

I know some people just do not feel they have had a meal unless potatoes or rice is present at all times; others want bread all the time. And from my observation they did not crave simple foods..........but...

then everyone is different.......

I am thinking of the reverse : what if you never eat bread, rice or potatoes like me...do I crave them ? nope..

Maybe it is an indication that your body needs a rest and a certain cleansing if you want to call it that so "it" is asking for simple food, less complex, easier to digest.

Everybody's metabolism is different after all..

I suppose eating crap 24/7 gives us some sort of tolerance so we wouldn't enjoy it as much as we might if we rarely eat it but you'd probably still eat it infact with all the loaded sugar in some foods you'd be craving it like crazy.

we all want what we don't have.-blurey

Simple food becomes more tasty WHEN YOU STOP SMOKING......:)
The human metabolism , sooner or later, will send messages to our taste buds with a craving that the body needs. When you are thirsty, that's one form of message that you body needs fluid.
It's not the throat that is thirsty or is it ? Yeah right !!

Some people don't listen to the signals the body is sending like too much salt is no good for high blood pressure. Sugar is bad for diabetes.
Why shouldn't the body send cravings that contain potassium, iron, and whatever minerals the body needs ?
