What the hell happened to Popeyes?!

Question: It used to be SOOO good in the 80's when I was a kid, and they had those onion rings. Now, unless you're lucky and they make a fresh batch, it's super greasy and salty and loaded with MSG and everything including the sides taste like they have been sitting out too long. The spicy chicken isn't even spicy anymore.

It makes me sad. Stupid corporate sell-outs

Answered your own question. Popeyes was a local eatery for a long time, New Orleans and surrounding. Spicy means spicy. Now, selling around the world, it has to please more people.
