wait until the water is boiling, then out the egg in and wait.
I take the eggs out of the fridge and allow them to warm to room temp. Then when the salt water is forming small bubbles on the bottom (a few mins before boiling), I gently place the eggs in the water using a spoon.
To try to prevent cracking of the eggs, don't leave the hot plate on the highest temperature so that the water is frothing and going crazy, you just need the water to be gently boiling
Boil water, and put the egg in.
Dont drop it.
i wait til the water boils and then put the egg inside, wait 8 min. you can tell when they are done if you put the egg on its side and spin it, if it spins really fast that means the yolk inside has hardened and it is done, if it spins slowly that means the yolk is moving back and forth inside the shell.
it never fails for me
I usually put the pot on the burner and then use a spoon to gently place the egg in the water (cool water) and then turn the burner on for it to boil and I don't have any problems with the egg cracking.
I start the water and the eggs at the same time.
Salt the water.
Put the eggs in GENTLY!
NEVER PUT THE HEAT UP TO HIGH!
Leave it on Medium High until the water starts to Boil and then lower the heat to Medium or even Low.
Let the eggs boil GENTLY until done, about 10 to 20 minutes.
That way the eggs don't crack.
A drop of vinegar in the water
almost as easy as making scrambled eggs. Boil eggs for 10 min. cool, crack, peel and eat.
Add a tsp of salt to the water and this should prevent the shell from cracking...I always cover my eggs in water, add the salt and boil for about 12 minutes....
put egg in pot bring to boil turn off cover with lid let sit 20 minutes
Have you added salt to the water after they are boiling.
I like to place the eggs in the water (completely covered) bring water to a good boil, add a good sprinkle of salt, place lid on pot, turn off burner, let sit in hot water for 20 minutes, I like to take one out, peel and eat, just to test for doneness. They're usually done, run under cold water, rinse several times, allow to cool and perfect hard cooked eggs! No green yolks!
