I feel like I eat the same thing everyday for lunch?!

Question: I pack my own lunch in the morning, but it's always the same thing and I get really bored with my lunch. Usually I make a turkey or chicken lunchmeat sandwhich with cheese on wheat bread, and then i have two snacks that consist of 100 calorie packs and special k bars. I need some ideas for my lunch that are easy to make and throw together in a few minutes. My school does not give me access to a microwave, I don't eat red meat, and I use a brown paper bag. I'm willing to buy a nice lunchbox if I have some good ideas to put in it! Cure my lunch boredom!

I have a small wide mouth thermos. For packing hot lunches, pour hot tap water into the thermos, put the cap on, and let it sit for a couple of minutes. While it sits, you can make mac and cheese, a can of soup, or even a can of Spaghetti-O's. Pour the water out of the thermos and fill with your lunch. It'll stay hot/warm for 4 or so hours. And the variety beats chicken sandwiches every day. Pack some crackers or raw vegetables to eat with your hot lunch.

You could eat you sandwich on pita bread.
You could try a different lunch meat each week- with different kinds of cheese. You could also eat a different fruit each week or day, and try all the different 100 cal packs. instead of special k bars- try chewy bars or granola bars: there are so many diff. kinds!
:-))

How about a wrap, a chicken or turkey are good. Some turkey or chicken slices with lettuce, tomato with mayonnaise and carrots. Fairly easy to make and your 100 calorie packs, can have jello or pudding packs too. Hopefully this helps.
