Tv dinners??!

Question: why do we lower our standers of food quality when eating a tv dinner??

Answers: why do we lower our standers of food quality when eating a tv dinner??

Prepared meals are considered time saving devices for those people that are very busy. I agree that some meals (especially the cheap one) are not very good. But some are pretty good, and people are willing to trade a small drop in quality for the convenience. Do you remember Budget Gourmet, they were pretty good for the price.

A bigger (or at least as big an issue) is the nutrition of these meals. Lately manufacturers have started paying attention but most are still high in fat and sodium. So be careful.

I don't, they're disgusting.

as we relax

I NEVER eat them, YUCK.

I don't lower my standards because I don't eat them. I think people who do eat them really don't have much of any standards.

I think it is because we are in need of something fast and quick. If we do not feel like making dinner, and we have something quick that could be popped into the microwave for only five minutes, we lower our standards and resort to that.

Basically, it is either TV Dinner or waste extra time to make dinner. And some people, don't really want to. Hence why we lower our standards.

In times when you're in a hurry and don't have time to cook a meal satisfies me temporarily then ordering out or go to a restaurant and spend mo money and some frozen dinners are excelent for the price

because its already made and lol maybe dont feel like cooking... not all of them r nasty but most of them r

I don't. I always cook and might go out to eat at a nice place maybe once a month.
