you think thats bad....

when i was little i went to my grandpas house. it was early in the morning and my parents were still sleeping. the night before my grandfather told me where the cereal was, so i decided to go get it. the kitchen attached to the backroom where my parents were sleeping, so i left the lights out (just a folding curtain was between the 2 rooms). i poured myself a bowl, got the milk and sat down and started eating. about 3 or 4 spoonfulls in i decided that it just didnt taste right, and started looking at the cereal closer, it was filled with cobwebs and mealworms!!! needless to say i screamed, my mom came running and we decided that we needed to go buy new cereal. who knows how long my grandfather had that box.

now whenever i eat anything there i have to pick thru it extreamly carefully. and that was about 20 years ago.

yeah but with a cockroach

I almost screamed when I read that. I'm very sorry you had that experience... I would probably never use a straw again.

omfg eeeeeewwww never nd i hope it neva does eitha!

No but thats disgusting. Yucky!!

It hasn't happened to me, but you will be fine. . .
Unless of course you sucked up tiny spider eggs without knowing it and now they are hatching in your stomach as we speak. . .
;-)

just kidding.

lol careful YOU MAY have BABY spiders in your tummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, that is really gross! I am sorry that happened to you! Nope it hasn't happened to me but I would really freak if it did.

yes but with a worm............... it was awesome

No hope you get better:).

No.
I buy good quality straws from Aldi.

They ensure nothing like this ever happens due to their strict no spiders policy.

LEARN FROM THIS

xx

Well I had that happen with a spider in the bottom of an ice cream cone... Barjengeknekjfe//// eww I can't even think about it! Grosses me out!!! Best just be thankful we didn't ingest them eh!

when i wuz lil i decided to giv a lady bug a "ride" in a straw, makin it go up and down. well, i sucked in too far and i accidently swallowed a lady bug.

I bit into a banana a couple of month ago to find myself chewing a baby scorpion (it was already dead). I guess it died will the banana was still growing and it somehow became encapsulated in it. BLAH indeed.

Apparently Trader Joes is notorious for having scorpions in the banana boxes and it just so happen I was the lucky one to find out first hand.

You'll be okay. I think you just siked yourself out. Good thing you caught it before it actually went into your mouth.

Eww...TMI! You didn't really have to share that with us did you?

Yes...except mine was with a few flies. I was in my dad's pickup and I was used to just getting something to drink. I had been on the tractor all day long and I was so thirsty. When he came to pick me up, I got the route 44 drink and gulped it. I felt something nasty in my mouth and it was a few flies. I brushed my teeth for forever. It didn't hurt me physically, but psychologically, it took its toll for awhile. Sorry, I know how it feels. It hasn't happened since, thank God.

yes, but it was a fly instead

OMG poor you!
I hate spiders with a passion lol
no that hasnt happend to be before but once i bit into an apple without realising there was a bloody wasp on it!
Worst pain in the world
x

it happend to my brother...now i do not use straws......you always should be careful...lol

No. But my sister ate a mosquito that she found in a spiderweb when she was two. I guess she didn't know that she wasn't supposed to eat it.

The puking is placebo. You're not physically sick - don't worry. I was eating something with mustard, and when I went to go put more on my plate, a fly came out of the bottle. I hadn't eaten it, but I was puking because of the thought.

dont worry..in a human lifetime, on average when you are asleep, you eat 6 spiders or insects
i.e crawl into mouth
so dont worry :)

While we sleep -- over our lifetimes we will eat a few hundred bugs without ever realising.

Now I have given you that happy thought - a spider in a straw is not that bad

apparently, during our lifetimes, when we are sleeping we will consume hundreds of insects (including spiders) without even realising it.

puts it into perspective

no, but I once had a fly fly into my mouth as I bit down on a hamburger.

No, thats never happened to me before but ewww...I got chills just thinking about it. I can't drink out of cans because I'm worried that theres a spider or bug inside. I can only dink out of cups or bottles that have lids on them. From not on just look at everything you eat or drink and rinse your straw out before you use it to make sure theres not a spider inside.

Sorry that happened to you. Yuck!

LOL! ewww! no~~~

Happened to me with an earwig... Now I check every straw before I use it... It marks you for life! Are you sure u didn't swallow any spider eggs by accident??? And the stringy thing was prob just a web ^ ~

nope but a roach yes....NASTY!

Yah, well the average person swallows ten spiders in their sleep in their entire lifetime. Lets just say that, that might not have been the only spider that has been in your mouth.

wooow. no never happened to me, but one time i was asleep and i felt something tickling my face, so i brushed if off and turned on the light near my bed and there was like, this huge mutant roach- spider thing on the wall that had apparently been partying on my FACE it was so WRONG.

The first time that my late wife prepared breakfast for me, just married, she fried eggs.

When I took the last bite, a fried spider fell off the bite of egg.

She almost became hysterical.

I just LMAO.

I had a friend once who drank nearly all of a quart of milk.
When he poured the last glass, a dead mouse came with it.

That was long before everyone was sue happy.
