Why does 'water' always collect on a 'philadelphia' cheese spread lid?!

Question: every time & how can i prevent it

Answers: every time & how can i prevent it

its not water its whey

lol good question ??

Lol I thought it was to do with my fridge settings - not sure but it happens to me all the time

It's whey that rises to the top of the cheese.

what ammo said.. it's a bit like condensation..

when you take the spread out of the fridge.

it's gotta cool back down again WITH the lid on.. which is why you get that and maybe the fridge isn't set right.
