Sending a package of perishables by mail?!

Question: I am going to be sending a care package to a friend across the country, and in it I am sending some cookies. I am planning on sending it express, but you never know with these things. Is there any way I can package the cookies to help preserve them for a longer period of time, just in case?

Thanks!

Express should get it there overnight possibly might take two days at the most. But to ease your mind maybe you should put them in a freezer bag and pack them into something soft, but keep in mind the bigger the package the more it is going to cost you.

Even if they are homemade, cookies don't need refrigeration. It makes them soggy. Just wrap them up with lots of cushioning. Even if they get delayed they'll be fine.

just make sure you have your box packed tightly..to where the cookies dont bounce around..otherwise they will arrive a crumbled mess.
