Can pickles expire?!

Question: can they?

Answers: can they?

Nope

I don't think so. They are in vinegar.

for the most part no. They're already in the spoiled form. But food manufactures always have a sell by date. If it hasnt been opened or has been in the fridge, i bet they'd last for years. lol kinda gross, huh?

Everything expires

Pickles can go bad., If the liquid they are in has a cloudy film, the pickle is mushy, or there is an off smell they are bad.

ill eat for 1mo. after opening

No because they are preserved by the pickling process but once opened and out of the jar it is unwise to leave them as they can become contaminated.

If I can't remember the last time I ate a pickle from that jar, I'll go ahead and toss. I know the pickle slices for hamburgers don't stay good forever- they'll get mushy and smell funny. So, at the beginning of summer, I'll automatically toss out the jar in the frig and pick up a new one and fire up the grill.
