terrible in these days of health awareness that I would admit to such a thing! not eaten fried bread in years - but yesterday stayed over in a hotel and for breakfast had fried egg on my fried bread - god! the experience was fantastic! delicious and decadent and afterwards felt guilty - but did a couple of extra miles on the cross trainer tonight for good measure - did it make me feel sick? no!
Yes l Do. Yum Yum.
I used to like it a lot, but then I got fat so I stopped liking anything from wheat
Same as you. Used to eat it with a full fry up but now find it tasteless and greasy. Prefer toast.
It is one of my '5-a-day'.
Nope. I like eggy bread though. :-)
I LOVE Fry Bread! Yummy!
yep as long as it comes with the usual accompaniments.......bacon, sausage, egg, tomato, mushroom, black pudding, toast, coffee........roll on breakfast...
LOVE IT.
sunday morning fry up is not the same without it.

My Mother used lard years ago we all had loads of it as disgusting as it is, we were all skinny.

i use it as my healty option and rotate it with dumplings and puff pastry , my staple is brown sauce.
Nope
Mmmm! Haven't had fried bread in ages....going to do the full English breakfast on Easter day so I'll have to make some fried bread.....& to hell with the consequences lol with regard to cholesterol & calories!
I used to like it, but I don't eat it any more because its not very healthy
not my fave but lovely
I love it with smoked bacon and egg but not if it is soggy
Delicious! Got to be white bread, fried both sides in olive oil until crisp and golden on the outside and moist on the inside. A treat to be savoured on rare occasions as to eat it too often is probably what makes you feel sick.
nope
into fried potato scones just now though. lovely
yep sssooooooo much
My grandmother had a great saying. "Happiness is a warm puppy,,,with an order of fry bread".

yes if it is fried on ant's oil.
Not half, especially with a fried egg on it.
Yep....... but as it was Easter the kids challenged me to do different eggs for everyone's brekkie.
I had a childhood fav. Ox Eye Eggs.
Take a slice of bread, use a cutter and take out a shape in the centre. Fry this piece on both sides an set aside. Then fry one side of the bread, drop in the cracked egg and fry for a while then carefully flip over and fry the other side.
When it's set drain on kitchen paper and tuck in with salt & pepper. It's also one of the times I just have to have Heinz tomato ketchup.
For those healty amongst you I guess you could toast the bread slightly, with the hole in it and then put in oven proof dish, drop egg in as before and bake until egg is set.
I can take it or leave it to be honest.
