yes,i'm a catholic,and it comes from lent,now it is good friday,jesus rises from the dead on easter sunday,and those who like to eat meat,may do so again.until next year when we do it all over again.

well because of good Friday for the Christians no red meat is allowed to be eaten on good Friday it is an old tradition !

mostly not !!!!!!!!! but some religion have a custom of eating fish on particular days. but i dont have a custom .

It was due to religous beliefs that fish was always at one point eaten on fridays. it has changed to only during certain festivities and holy days of obligation.

I usually feel the need for seafood on fridays though I am with you on that!

I'm Catholic, and during Lent, which is a religious season where we prepare for Easter, the rising of Jesus from the dead, and during this season, we can't eat meat on Fridays, except for fish.

nope. never. im a vegetarian & i dont eat any animal that was previously living (:

I like fish, but I prefer shrimp and yes I eat it every Friday of Lent Season.
