I like cucumbers. Why do they make me burp?!

Question: I eat a salad with some raw cucumbers, then have a meal and even desert, then two hours later I burp. What does it taste like? Cucumbers! Why?

i guess they have acid.

Dunno why, but you can prevent it by peeling the cucumber.

It's the seeds not the cucumber itself..My grandma told me to scoop out the seeds and you won't burp..It works for me..try it.
