Cheese question?!

Question: OK...I was grating some marble cheese for my omellete and I noticed this green hue that was throughout the cheese. It was like a mint green color and it seemed to infiltrate the whole block of cheese. After I grated it and cooked it, it had an off taste in my omelette. Now I feel really queasy! Doe anyone know what that might have been??

Sounds like your cheese was past it's prime.

Marble Cheese should be a mixture of Colby and Monterey Jack - both high fat cheeses. If you ate it just a little bit ago then the nausea could be the fact your brain is telling you the cheese might have been bad or the high fat content in the cheese is not agreeing with your stomach. It sounds like you may have used a fair amount ot if. Drink some Coke or Sprite and see if it won't settle your stomach.

If you develop stomach cramps and diahhrea, then I would recommend calling a doctor and seeing what they say.

It sounds like mold to me. How much cheese did you put into your omelet? The whole block, a cup, etc?

Moldy cheese, MLA, you should have checked with the nuns first. Father Patrick should have know better.

ha ha you're going to die!! LOL

it's funny because it's not me!

Sounds like it was blue cheese, not marble. Don't worry you will be fine, plus it will help fight off any germs you have in your body currently.
