Is there any difference of the nutritional value of a bread after toasted?!
Answers: Like fat and calories for instance
The carbohydrate is dehydrated when toasting so it becomes carbon and that's why it turns brown (black if you overcook it). I'm pretty sure the fat levels remains the same but the calories would be affected slightly (it would decrease). Calories are a unit of measuring energy and as carbohydrates are one of the body's main sources of energy, reducing the amount of carbs would reduct the amount of energy.
No.
Yes...
But the difference is very minor.
Toasting will 'convert' some of the sugars in the bread to other compounds, and, in this conversion, some vitamins may be lost.
However! The relatively small area that is 'damaged' (compared to the whole slice of bread) is pretty small, so, while there will be some change... it's nothing to worry about.
Calories? Maybe a few lost. Fat? Almost no change.
Unless, of course you are toasting it really, really heavily! Then you have charcoal, which is not nutritious at all.
Best wishes!
erm well i think your kinda burning away the nutrients when you toast bread! or maybe not, i dont think it effects the calories or fat content
nope the same
Yes. When I have fresh vegetables I steam them as little as possible on the stove or in the microwave. The longer something is cooked it usually has fewer vitamins. I am not a nutritionist.
== Answer == with fruit and vegetables, 90% of the goodness is directly under the skin. when y peel these you loose it when u cook in water you cook out more goodness from the little that was left you then pour the goodness down the drain masjhed potatos is a good example u then add butter and milk to make it taste edable
No the only difference is the amount of moisture
yes.. the toasting or burning breaks down the chemical components. when its burnt its not bread anymore =)
i think that there's less fat when toasted but I'm not sure...
nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnooooooooooooooooooo:) sorry
no. fat and calories do not deteriorate during cooking. vitamins and minerals do though in vegetables ect...that might be what you are thinking of.
I wouldn't think so, not unless you add something to it(butter, jam, etc).
But I have heard that burnt foods are more cancerous.

I dont think there is any difference in nutritional value. I do know that the reason toast tastes so good is that when it is heated up, the sugar in the bread starts to caramelize. Mmmmm.
It remains the same.
Hello, cis,,Only when adding butter - Gravy, jelly, haha iam guessing that theres no difference if you toast, have a nice day <R> cheese LOL
