When comparing a popular candy to fondant icing for people to get an idea of the taste and texture?!

Question: Why do they always say that it is the runny goo inside of a Cadbury Creme Egg instead of the overly sweet Playdough taste and texture of a vanilla Tootsie Roll which it is usually is 9 times out of 10 in real life? If it actually was like a Cadbury Egg, no baker would use it since it wouldn't hold up to heat and other claims they make about actual fondant.

I don't believe I've ever heard it compared to either of those. But would agree with you that it is not like the inside of a Cadbury egg.
