Is too much tin food such as fruit cocktail and baked beans bad?!

Question: I eat a lot of tinned foot, such as cocktail and baked beans, is too much bad

Answers: I eat a lot of tinned foot, such as cocktail and baked beans, is too much bad

Yes, fruit cocktail has nothing good in it - it is fruit cooked down with no fiber and no vitamins and too much sugar. Baked beans at least have a little fiber and protein, but they are high in sodium. Of the two, baked beans would be a better choice, but too much of anything isn't good. You should be eating a balanced diet.

Yes!

Yes.

I heard it increases your risk of cancer?

it's usually high in sodium and preservatives, which in abundance can be bad

Baked beans must be the healthiest food on the planet

BEWARE

Beans, beans they are good for your heart, the more you eat , the more you fart!

Where do you buy tinned feet anyway? I wouldn't think it would be good to eat too many unless they've had a pedicure first!

any thing is bad in excess. but tinned & packaged food is not particulary great for us due to the preservatives and additives.but as long as you don't eat to much of this sort of food it's ok!

There tend to be more preservatives in tinned food than fresh or cello wrapped.

The actual canning process is not a problem nor is the fact they are in tins ... despite many rumours.

Just check labels and if you eat lots of the fruit cocktail, eat that which is in it's own juice and not syrup. That will help with improving nutrition levels!

Probably eat some fruit

I imagine that fruit cocktail has a lot of sugars in it so not so good, whereas baked beans are excellent for cleaning the bodies arteries.

Yes. It is 'dead' food. Eat 'live' food and cook it yourself.

Yes, especially if the fruit comes in syrup and the baked beans are you bog standard beans with loads of sugar and salt in the sauce, and I haven't started on the preservatives, artificial colouring, etc...
