Why do fish and chip shops in UK sell pickled eggs?!

Question: does anyone like them?

Answers: does anyone like them?

because the sharpness of the vinegar cuts through the grease of whatever you've just eaten.

Cool, I've never heard of pickled eggs. Report It

  • nope there minging

    I've never tried them

    pickeled egg? lmao!

Yes i like pickled Eggs, i think they are great, although dont eat too many as they will give you serious indigestion, i also like pickled beetroot, however i dont like those pickled green things that are too disgusting for me to even type their name.

Hmmm think i'll have a pickled egg.

Same reason as shops sell anything. People buy enough of them for the shop to make a profit. If no-one liked them, shops wouldn't sell them.

no idea. i really like the idea of them but they're minging!

    Never tried it, never will.

They sell them for profit,I quite like them actually.

weird world we live in eh!
no, there scusting and i shall never eat one in my LIFE

same reason as vinegar goes on chips - the sharpness cuts through the grease. They are lush!

Lots of people like them. I personally don't like the ones in the chip shops. I like home made ones but only when they are freshly made and had no more than a day in vinegar. Any longer and they go rubbery. They need salt and pepper too.

    I personally hate them!
But they are not as bad as battered mars bars they are actually gross.

They used to sell them in pubs too.Personally I don,t like them but lots of people do,so what the customer wants, the customer gets.

Why do butchers sell eggs. Profit.
