I went to an exhibition on bush foods years ago and tried all the usual suspects. Snake and crocodile are very tasty. I've created and tasted some bizarre ones-wasabi ice cream, balsamic strawberry pudding, chocolate pasta, liquorish infused duck

Fast food!
Crocodile and emu are exotic not bizarre.

barbequed eel on sushi

it was delish!!! :$ :D

the most bizzare thing i have ever eaten is probably fake chicken.

looks like chicken. tastes like chicken. but aparently it wasnt chicken.

cow's brain. i didnt know what it was until i've eaten it. btw it was delish!!

frog and snake

when my dad got married he had curried goat for the reception meal it was lovely . Ive also had chocolate with chill and cardamon.

Hmmmm....I've had'

Chicken Feet - ok, but nothing special to eat...mainly suck the skin and toes off hahahaha...pretty blande taste..unless marinated in plum sauce.

Ox tongue - fantastic...absolutely love this...but it has to be thinly sliced...and then when it is cooked it looks like 'normal' beef...but tastes really good :)

Sheeps Brain - had this when I was a kid and all I remember is that it was mushy but nice when in bread crumbs...I think though from memory it has a 'rich' flavour.

Pig Intestine and stomach - horrible...arrrrggghhhh...what was I thinking....

Deep fried Scorpion - it really didn't have much taste...it was a small scorpion...pretty much was like eating prawn shell I guess hahahahaha

That's all I can think at the moment :)...and yeah...I love to try weird stuff...but...I don't think I could eat a fried tarantula if given the chance....hahahaha

I don't think this is very weird but I've had snails in Hongkong. This may or may not make sense but they actually tasted like snails. YUK!

When I was much younger on exchange in Central America my host mum made me try turtle eggs! They were in a esky of warm beach sand and you just crack (or tear) them open and slurp them down. i didnt like the idea of it and as soon as I tasted the littlest bit I gagged and she had it instead, it was very peppery tasting.

I dont think I will try them ever again!!

I once had a bite of squid by accident and it is gross!
