Is it safe to refreeze precooked cocktail shrimp?!

Question: I left one too many bags in the fridge last night by mistake, and don't want to waste it. the bag is not open but the delicious little buggers are defrosted. Can they safely be refrozen or is it a use or lose scenario?

thank you

It is fine to do that, but I would make it with a permannet marker to use the next time, I am a former chef and when the cook them at the processing plant there cooked ina solution that keeps them while frozen, chances are they are not completely defrosted if you put them in the fridge, I have had shrimp ring in there fro days and still had to rinse ice off them befre serving.

Try it and see what happens they should be fine. I would just eat them in the next few days.

I would NOT refreeze them unless I had cooked them in something first. Otherwise, it is a use or lose scenario.
