Are Crawdads in season and do they taste like Blue Crabs?!

Question: Yup, it's crawfish time, and if they taste like anything else, it would probably be a mix of lobster and shrimp, not crab. They're tasty little bugs!

Don't know if they are in season,but they don't taste at all like crab.They taste more like a sweeter ,stronger version of lobster.

We have a crawdad and shrimp store here in Arkansas and they are now selling them. No, they do not taste like Blue Crab.

Yup it is officially crawdad season but down where I come from they seem to be in short supply right now (Louisiana). And no i never found them to taste much like crab at all but they sure are tasty :)
