Why does chewing gum break up/go slimey if you chew it after you've just eaten chocolate?!

Question: Just happened, Wondered why!

Answers: Just happened, Wondered why!

Bubblegum is hardened plant oil, that is why it doesn't melt or mix with water and saliva. As we all know chocolates are plant fat and oil so it will mix with the bubblegum dissolving it.

because the gum is collecting all the left over chocolate in your mouth.

when gum mixes with another food it loses its properties (what makes it gum ) and is no longer gum so does not behave like gum.

It could also be the extra sugar added by chewing the chocolae at the same time. As sugar disolves, its becomes liquid.

it does?! kewl. hahaa

help me with my question?
