Does toothpaste contain sugar?or any sweeteners?!

Question: Most commercial toothpastes contain an artificial sweetener, such as sorbitol. It's in the same (chemical) family as Aspartame, which is used to sweeten sugar-free candies and other snacks. Sorbitol isn't known to be dangerous, but in a large enough quantity it can cause stomach distress and diarrhea. So don't swallow your toothpaste!
