Are you bothered by the wheat shortage?!

Question: I read a couple of news reports that farmers are producing more corn than wheat, therefore there is a shortage of wheat. Due to this shortage, wheat products are increasing in cost.

Does it bother you? Why or why not?

not really, I am not much of a wheat eater. I avoid breads and baked goods in general. I do think corn is healthier, but I guess it will have a negative impact on poorer people and people whose lives depend on wheat.

Yes, it really bothers me a lot. Not only will the prices of everything containing wheat increase, but so will a lot of items we don't even realize have wheat. So, all breads, crackers, cookies, baked goods, pastas, sauces, gravies and many other items will either increase in price, or become more rare on the grocer's shelves! Where will it all end? I sure am not making more money on my job due to the increased price in wheat products!

Yes, my mom was talking about this today. I hope it even out eventually.
