Why do coconuts have 3 holes?!
Answers: I feel kinda stupid askin - but i've always wondered!
It is probably connected to the tree by three stalks. When the nut matures and falls off the holes are where the stalks were joined.

Girl only one person can answer that, and that's mother nature, so listen to her and you will see the answer, but my answer is that it is "necessary" for the coconut to be what it is, that's why it has 3 holes.
