Tea Drinkers! How do you handle.....?!
Oh, and if you drinking non-herbal, do you use the paper wrapping for squeezing purposes?
So this is what I do: I squeeze out the little bit of tea water with the paper wrapping, then slide it off the spoon and throw it away. I know, I know---very tidy, but I DON'T burn my fingers!
Answers: your tea bag? Tea ball? After your tea has steeped do you just lift it out, and throw it away, all drippy? OR do you squeeze that little bit of hot tea out and then throw it away?

I do the same thing you do.
i squeeze the bag.
Ahha, interesting question.
I loooooove tea, so naturally i'm going to squeeze the tea bag for every last drop. After that, I throw it away using my spoon.
Place bag on spoon, wrap string around, and pull 3 times.
I add the loose leaves to the compost.
The Muse
I squeeze the bag up against the pan with a spoon.=)
I can't help thinking there's an undercurrent running here... but on the basis of tea, soak, squeeze and use teaspoon to fire into bin. I'm Irish and as far as I know, no good teabag yet has a string on it!!
I make tea by the cup with boiling water. Actually, I put it in the microwave and boil it on high for 2 minutes and 30 seconds so it is very strong. Then I let it steep for about 3 minutes. Then I mash the teabag against the side of the cup to squeeze out the water and toss it. I don't burn my fingers except when the cup handle gets red hot. I think our microwave is dying a slow, agonizing death.
I had a friend who used to dunk the teabag in hot water for 2 seconds and then toss the tea bag. It hardly got wet and didn't give the water any color at all.
