Rare pork?!?!


Question: i just ate two peices of pork that were pink in the middle.I have a strong stomach..i have never thrown up before and i am freaking out!

You'll be fine, the bacteria that was found in raw pork back in the day is next to gone now. Most places you go to eat will serve pork medium, some people request it rare. You'll be fine, don't worry. Trust me I freak out about those things too, so I wouldn't say unless I was sure.

alittle pink is ok with any meat.. but chicken.. i always cook my pork well done if it is chops or ribs..but a tenderloin i usually have a tiny bit of pink.. if you do not feel sick soon you should be ok.. becareful & good luck

How can you have never thrown up before?

You should be just fine... It was only two pieces and your probably making yourself sick worrying about it, I'm sure it didn't make you sick.. You will be fine, just go sit down and relax.

in most cases you are probably ok eating rare pork, but its not the best way to eat it, the same as chicken, should always be well cooked. i eat steak very rare (just show it the pan rare) but i would never eat rare pork or chicken.
