How do you eat sugar cane?!

Question: In Asia most peope just peel shave the outer layer off and then chew the sugar cane to get the sweet juice, then spit out the remains.

You can also chop sugar can into sticks which are about 1cm thick and use it as a skewer. This will impart a sweet and caramel flavour to your meat or seafood.

Alternatively you can put the cane in your electric juicer and then filter it. You can drink the juice directly or use it in cooking such as adding it to curry, marinates which would give it extra flavour.

Have fun.
