What exactly does "in moderation" mean?!
for example like junk food, people say it's okay in moderation, but i have no idea what that means like when it's okay, or healthy to eat it, and not be "hurt" from it?
does it mean like a once a week thing? once every 2 weeks, or what?
Answers: i know people say you can eat anything as long as it's in moderation but i have no idea what that means.

Moderation simply means once in a while. If you successfully watch what you eat 80 percent of the time the other 20 you will be fine.
it means it's ok to have a handful of chips but to sit down and eat the whole bag is not. it's fine to have red meat but not 3 times a day.
It means "occasionally", or "now and then", or in the case of junk food, "not often enough to cause you to gain weight".
Nobody can give you a formula of "this many in this span of time" without knowing you, your regular diet, and something about your metabolism. It's up to you to work out what "in moderation" means in your situation.
Never understood moderation, that's why I'm on a diet.
It means "not very much at any one time"
I think it depends on the person usually. Moderation is all relative to what your body can take. I would associate "modertation" with serving sizes or personal responsibility (i.e. would you eat this all the time if you knew it was bad for you?).
Relative.....whatever is relatively allowed by your body.....whatever amount of intake your body allows...... If you are referring to alcohol intake--it is defined by laws via alcohol count.....Medically speaking....it is defined by medical facts...medical books....
Look at the recommended serving size and don't go too far over that unless you plan on compensating for it in other ways, such as cutting back on calories or exercising more.
For example one big muffin might be two servings. You have to read labels.
It means every once in a while. Not too much, or too little.
