Can anyone tell me anything about edible arrangements?!

Question: I purchased the chocolate covered strawberry arrangement last Valentines Day for my girlfriend. When it came it looked great. The strawberries were decent considering it was February. It's definitely a unique gift that not everybody knows about or expects. If someone does't like fruit though it's probably not a good idea. Some of the arrangements are quite expensive because they have a lot of fruit. Something simple and inexpensive still makes a nice statement that you wanted to do something special. My advice is to keep the arrangment in the fridge and eat the fruit as soon as possible or it will begin to spoil. After a couple of days the strawberries began to lose a little moisture so they shrank a little resulting in the chocolate pulling away and coming off. Hope this helps.

I've had the fruit version...basically pieces of fruit on a wooden skewer, and put decoratively into a basket. It wasn't bad, but I like my fruit cold.
