Why Do People Like Their Food Warm?!
Answers: I've always wondered this. I like my food whatever temperature and people find it funny. Explain to me why people perfer Warm food over cold o.o
When certain food are heated properly, their internal flavors are heightened to a whole new level of flavor and that's why they taste so good. For me, hot or warm food is more comforting but it's the whole experience that excites me. Starting out with a somewhat room temperature salad, going into a preferably hot dinner and then cooling down with a delightful dessert it just a roller coaster of a life time of eating habits in our time. Eating a hot meal makes me think of dinner time at home when we actually sat down to a "hot meal" and it's those times that stick dearly in our minds and hearts, plus, to me, it just taste's better. And, in my profession, if you can actually eat something hot or warm, then you're very lucky!

well why do people like cold food??
Some people have less sense of taste when things are cool or cold. The hotter the food, the more likely it will be to open up the sinus passage a bit and therefore, the flavor will hit the olfactory area and that means the person will be able to "taste" it better. When you taste, you are actually using your sense of smell too.
For some people, it is also just a thing they do. Texture, feel, whatever ... they want their food hot or warm.

This is funny - just the other night, I felt tired and too lazy to microwave my leftover Chinese, and figured what the hell, I'll just eat it refrigerated, and it was a delicious and simple way to eat. I'm not sure why we prefer food that's safe to eat refrigerated but typically served warm heated up - we're creatures of habit I guess. I love cold Pizza. I love hot Pizza. I <3 Pizza.
If you want the biological view. In warm food, the oils and stuff are more liquidy and since oil and fat is what makes food taste good, when its liquidy it coats your tounge better so it tastes better. When food is cold, that oil and fat doesn't spread as well so it doesn't taste quite as good.
