What kind of 'foil' are potato chip bags made from?!

Question: Like Lay's chips, and other typical brands, it's a foil/plastic type of material. Does anyone know the name or where I could get a hold of some?

the packaging material you are talking about is made for a "form, fill, seal" machine. it's usually a bonded sandwich of thin plastic, on the backside of which the pictures and words are printed in reverse, a thin foil, and an oxygen barrier made of saran or a similar plastic. look in the yellow pages for a packaging company and ask for a sample.
