You don't find a food bank at a grocery store like Safeway, believe me. A food bank is a place where donated food is stored, and is almost always operated by volunteers. It might be a church operating it, or a county, and there are usually several in a city or town. You must apply to the food bank, or go there on the days they are dispensing food and fill in an application. Depending on whether you are single, married, have children or none, that will determine how much food you will be given.
If you want to know more about food banks, read the link to Wikipedia, but DON'T copy it outright. That's plaigarism and will get you in trouble at school.
