Answers: actually yes it is... its called cheese"cake" because it is basically prepared like a cake but if you look it up im sure you will find it to fall into the pie category. =D

there r hundred of recipes for cheesecake , some of them could be pies , some could be trifles , and some could only be cheesecake !
