There's nothing like a great stereotype isn't there?
I'm American and not everything (not even a lot of) the things I eat are deep fried, high in salt and sugar and fat! Now of course tonight my meal consisted of all the above, but it was my birthday and I had my absolute favorite sin food ~ chicken fried steak - but I did eat a salad on the side so that had to cancel something out, right?
As for Aussie food? I am not sure what your typical diet is like? I have a few friends from there, they have lived here for about 3 years now and they eat everything I eat....lots of chicken, seafood, fresh fish, deer, steak, salads....oh yeah they were the first people that got me to eating buffalo - so does that count? Oh yeah, buffalos are a native american animal, guess you don't have many of those running around there, do ya?
Ok so fill me in on a typical Australian diet and I will tell you if I think it is weird!
I don't actually know the typical diet for Australians..
So,..I guess I don't have any thoughts.
Those are McDonals foods and tmany of he people who eat there are usually fat sweat hogs. I hate them and people who smoke and drink beer!!!
Oh, Aussie food? I am certain we eat the same stuff.
I have never heard of your diets, but America is fat and it is embarrassing, I live in America and I'm skinny, I hate for the USA to be know as fat .
i refer to it as very salty and odd because of the taste for vegemite
I don't think Australia has flooded the world market with its fast food and destructive marketing practices, so we don't object to Australian foods the way the rest of the world objects to 'Anerican' food.
that would depend on what your diet consists of, I don't know anything about Australian eating patterns. Other than vegamite sandwiches, which I think sound gross.
I don't know anything about Australian food but I do think many Americans are leaning more toward eating healthier. I'm for most healthier foods, and I would love to change habits to more natural foods, fruits and vegetables and less processed products. Cream in the tea is an English custom that came across the ocean I believe, to America way back in the day. I'm all for healthier eating, wish I knew what your lifestyle dictates . . . ?
