How to make great tea?!

Question: A long time ago when I was younger my mom made me some tea when I was sick. I dont know what it was but the tea was the best I had ever had, kind of sweet but not too sweet.

I've tried to make it myself since then and have never gotten it to taste that great. Most of the time it tastes way too watery... Is there a trick to it?

What kind of things do you put in your tea?

And what kind of tea do you like?

I guess your talking about hot tea, right? If so look on the package for instructions - as to amount of water per bag....I prefer Louisanne Tea - I have tried the generic teas and they are crap! Lipton is good. Make sure you steep it as long as directed. Use honey, a quality honey, not a cheap one, look for real honey. That is what I do for my kiddos when they have a sore throat, the honey helps soothe it and the tea is just good and hot.

boil water in a tea kettle and get like lipton tea and put one in and a spoon of sugar to the cup..

Maybe you are adding too much water, usually there are directions on the box. My favorite tea is black pekoe and rose tea leaves. Usually I add 1 regular /small tea bag to an 8 oz cup of hot water and then add sugar to taste.

You don't need a tea kettle or any other fancy stuff if you don't have it. All you need is a small pot, boil the tea there for awhile..put in honey or sugar, stir it up. If you're sick then lemon or lime is good, sometimes you can flavor the tea with fruit. Spicy teas are good with a little milk in it..its very good, like a dessert.
