No added sugar help...?!

Question: I'm looking at a bottle of ASDA smart price Lemon Squash (It is really nice for 17p!) and it has "No Added Sugar". I'm also looking at cans of Fanta which are also very nice! Someone said to me that they was filled with Aspartame, which causes loads of problems and damages your health.

So, how and what does aspartame do? And why if it harmful to you do supermarkets sell items to you that harm you?

Thanks in advance.

Aspartame is an artificial sweetener. It is used in most diet foods. Like diet sodas and sugar free chewing gum, etc. They have researched it and thin it may be linked to cancers and dementia. Supermarkets sell heaps of harmful things. The world is messed up like that. I think they find legal loop holes which allows them to do so.
