How can anyone eat cheap meats?!
Answers: the animals are kept in appalling conditions!
I agree! 100%
everybody should eat free range,or just not eat meat.the fact they cannot afford free range is hardly an excuse to eat food that has caused animals to suffer so much.
same with battery eggs.either buy free range/organic or just dont buy egss.
some people just do not care, have no heart.
How can anyone eat meat? full stop........
Don't understand your question. Treating the animals better before slaughter= more expensive meat?
Expensive meat is also kept in poor conditions, what's the difference?
Who's got money to buy free range meat?! Have you seen the gas prices lately??
Your question could be answered by asking why anyone owns a car that is more than five years old. They wouldn't do so if they could afford to buy a new car.
The vast majority of people who eat meat cannot afford free range, and those who eat meat regard doing so as a healthy thing to do.
I'm sure you don't mean to sound like a snob as much as it sounds like you are.
People buy what they can afford. Welcome to the real world.
it's a relatively cheap way to get proteins, and buying frozen patties is much easier than cooking bean soup or tofu.
If we properly educated people, they wouldn't do it- beans and grains are a complete source of protein if combined properly, and they are cheaper than bad meat.
However, when you work for $8/hour, you really need those $8, so many people work long hours and don't have the energy and the time to look around and to cook healthy meals.
I buy organic most of the time because I'm lucky enough to afford it, but I understand why people need to make a trade off. It's the same reason why people drive old cars that pollute, go without insurance, or don't use organic cleaning supplies.
some of us have to eat cheap meat look at the gas prices and i fond out that all meat and eggs thy treat it all the same unless you have a farm then you can have it your way i now its bad...
If that is all you can afford then you do. What makes you think that the animals are treated any better if their meat is more expensive?
