Question: I have 2 pounds of ground beef, and the normal stuff. wide assort of veggies, pastas. red potatoes.numerous seasonings. i am wanting something new and different for a husband and 3 kids. thank you for any ideas.

Try a taco lasagna. Includes, ground beef, onions, tortillas, chesse and whatever you can imagine. The family loves it.

Pot spaghetti, really good just brown the meat, make the pasta it is so good and get spaghetti sauce

Hamburger Soup- brown the hamburger with whatever chopped up vegetables your family likes, season to taste. Add beef broth or vegetable broth simmer for 30 minutes. Cook pasta or rice seperately and add to the soup at the end.

Cuban Ground Beef Hash

1-1/2 pounds ground beef

1 medium green pepper, chopped

1 medium onion, chopped

1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained

3 tablespoons tomato paste

1/3 cup raisins

1/3 cup sliced stuffed olives

1 tablespoon cider vinegar

3 garlic cloves, minced

2 teaspoons ground cumin

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1/2 cup frozen peas

Hot cooked rice


In a large skillet, cook the beef, green pepper and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the tomatoes, tomato paste, raisins, olives, vinegar, garlic, cumin, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Add peas; cover and cook 5 minutes longer or until heated through. Serve with rice. Yield: 6 servings.

We are having spaghetti and homemade meatballs.
Just mix your ground beef with half a cup of breadcrumbs or crushed crackers. Finely chop one onion and maybe a clove of garlic, 1 cup of parmesan cheese, 1 tbs dried parsley and bind together all ingredients with one egg. Roll into balls and set aside in the fridge whilst you prepare your spaghetti sauce.
Spaghetti Sauce..
Touch of oil for frying,
Tin plum or crushed tomatoes,
Tin tomato puree,
Tsp Oregano,
Tsp Basil,
1 onion,
1 clove garlic,
Method...
Chop and fry garlic and onion in oil,
Add tomatoes and tomato puree add Oregano and Basil, Reduce sauce by simmering for 10 minutes,
drop in your meatballs and keep turning, this should take about 40mins in total.
Serve on bed of Spaghetti with a sprinkling of Parmesan.
Enjoy.

How about a nice vegetable soup. Just brown the beef and add some tomato paste,water, a couple of boullion cubes and as many kinds of vegetables as you have or like. Maybe have grilled cheese sandwiches along the side. :-)
