The Fool's Gold Sandwich.

This food is especially famous/infamous because Elvis used to love them, and they think his constant eating of them caused his premature death, out of the sheer cholesterol it contains.

The sandwich consists of fried bread, butter,a layer of thick peanut butter, friend banana slices, and fried bacon.

And it has a calorie count of 8000 calories!

Just to put that in perspective a reccomended daily calorie intake for men is 2550 calories.

Read about the sandwich and how to make it here, also read about how Elvis apparently took a private jet to stock up on these sandwiches.

2,900 calories 182 g fat 240 g carbs Even if you split this "starter" with three friends, you'll have downed a dinner's worth of calories before your entree arrives. Follow this up with a steak, sides, and a dessert and you could easily break the 3,500 calorie barrier.

where I work Spam is. (I have alot of time on my hands to read labels)

loads of chocolate, stodgy puddings, take aways

A whopping plate of Fries with Chili and cheese sauce.

Despite what the health freaks tell you, olive oil contains 133 calories per table-spoon. Very fatty, but strangely all "good" fat.

I know that almonds have around 700 calories per cup

If you want to gain fat, eat fatty stuff. Mac Donald's does the job. If you want to gain sustainable weight, eat whole-grain, lots of protein (red meat, fish, chicken, etc), and your veggies should be stuff like avocado or beans. Drinking milk also helps.
Just eat more calories than you burn in a day. But try and keep the fat off, it is vile.
oh yeah! and don't forget the nuts!

Buy a Paula Deen cook book. Seems that most her recipes start with a stick of butter! ;)

Seriously, you should go to a local GNC (nutrition store geared toward weight lifters) and see what type of 'weight gain' products they have.

I have a friend who ate a pint of Ben & Jerrys before bed every night for a month and that did the trick for him. (He was losing too much after weight loss surgery and needed to stop.)

hit mcdonalds, and burgur king, avoid healthier foods like salad, eat tons of sweets (brush your teeth!) , ice cream!, cheese,

eating a lot of food such as cakes, pies, cheese, take aways, fried food, etc these things all taste so good but so fattening!! its not fair :(

Mix butter with powdered sugar. (wink)

Gaining weight has a lot to do with physiology, the trick to gaining is to eat more calories than you burn. If your system were 100% efficient you would gain 1 pound for every extra 3600 calories you do not burn off with activity.

That said everyone is different and it is not that simple. Metabolism, and other factors also play a part. You can gain weight 2 ways, Adding muscle mass or adding body fat. If you really want to add fat, reduce your activity level and eat high calorie foods.

If you want to add muscle mass, exercise and eat a well balanced diet (1/3 protein calories, 1/3 fat calories, 1/3 carbohydrate calories) which has about 300 to 400 more calories than you burn in a day. You may need to increase or decrease this depending on your result. Also be sure to include all the essential amino acids and minerals.

In general it is best to stay away from artificial sweeteners and even high fructose corn syrup, as these mess with your endocrine system and contribute to a low or high weight problem. Limit simple refined sugars (sucrose) to about 1 Tbs a day.

You may also want to look at Iodine intake as this effects the thyroid. Be sure you are in a normal range given all the foods you eat.

deep fried anything!
