Watermelon seeds.?!

I just brought a bag of red roasted watermelon seeds, but I was wondering if you can eat the shell like you can with pumpkin seeds?

Yes, but just like pumpkin seeds, when you chew the outer shell it is like cut glass going through your digestive tract...stomach pains and pains on the way out...

i would think so, i always end up eating them when eating a watermelon by accident
